cloudy day again, but made the best of it! caught a few small ones, mostly bass and bluegill. used crickets and had some bites. even tho the weather was iffy, it was nice to be on the water with friends.
went back to poway and it was partly cloudy. snagged 4 small bass on my new rod, which was awesome! used a texas rig and worked it slow. felt great to be out there after a week of rain!
finally had a nice day out at poway! little wind but mostly sunny. hooked into a 6lb catfish using some chicken liver. it was a fight! we spent the whole afternoon enjoying the sun, perfect day to be out.
today was a washout, rain came in hard but we still tried! caught 1 bass before the storm really hit. had my trusty old rod with me, just never know when the fish will bite. ended up getting soaked, but hey that's fishing!
hit the lake again with my buddy on this cloudy afternoon. we managed to land a couple of decent bluegill, nothing too big tho. used some worms on a bobber. it was chill and nice to just relax and fish.
