went out to the lake on the 26th, it was overcast and chill but still gave it a go. caught a few small trout but nothing big. used my ultralight gear. it was fun but kinda quiet. sometimes you just gotta enjoy the water, ya know?

hit up britton on the 11th, cloudy skies and crazy wind! caught a few trout but it was tough with the gusts. used a small crankbait and got a 3lber. not as good as other days, but still got my fix. gotta love the thrill of the catch, even when the weather ain't perfect!
went to lake britton again on the 7th, same sunny vibes. saw lots of anglers, but I was the lucky one! hooked a 6lb largemouth using a topwater frog. was super exciting watching it hit the lure! couldn't believe it. all in all, a brilliant day on the lake.
had a great time at britton on the 5th! sunny weather, couldn't ask for more. caught a couple smallmouth bass with my trusty jig. they were tucked under the rocks near the shore. only got 2, but hey, they were fun to catch! fresh air and sunshine, what more can u ask for?
