👤 Tommy G.man did we get soaked today! but hey, it was still a blast out there on glen elder. me and my buddy hit the water around sunrise, just before 6:11 am, despite the rain showers. was using my trusty old baitcaster with a black and blue jig. it was tough at first, but the fish started biting right after the rain eased up a bit. ended up landing 5 crappies and 2 nice channel cats, both around 4-5 lbs. the wind was a bit wild, hit 35.6 km/h at times, but we managed to find some shelter by the cove. gotta say, nothing beats fishing in the summer rain, all those fish just love it! can’t wait to go again tomorrow! 🌧️🎣
