wow what a wild day! thunder rolled in while we were fishing, but the fish were still biting! caught 4 big rainbows, all over 18 inches. used a mix of jigs and flies, really had to work for 'em with the wind. felt like an adventure! totally worth getting wet!
what a perfect sunny day! hit up my favorite spot on the deschutes. got there early and started casting. ended up with 7 fish, big ones too! biggest was 20 inches, caught it on a black and gold spinner. weather was just right, no wind! felt good to be out here, great day overall
caught a few fish today, but the patchy rain made it a bit tricky. we were out there for a few hours, but didn't really get into any hot spots. ended with 3 small trout, kinda bummed. used worms this time, maybe next time will be better
the weather was gloomy again today, i went out just to see. got skunked, no bites! but the river was calm and beautiful. still a nice chill day casting around. brought my new rod, felt good to practice casting even if nothing was biting. guess that's fishing for ya!
had a great day on the deschutes today. perfect sunny weather! caught 5 fish, mainly browns and rainbows, biggest was 18 inches. used a combo of spoons and some dry flies. fish were kinda picky but once i figured 'em out, it was on! nice to be out with a good crew, felt so good to be out in the sun
