fishing on the 25th, overcast but didn’t let that ruin the fun! got a few bites but only landed a 2 lb bass. used a crawfish crankbait, worked okay. can't complain tho, just being on the water makes for a good day. gotta go back soon!
went out on the 23rd, was cloudy and a bit chilly. only caught one bass but it was a solid 4 lbs. used spinnerbaits and fished the coves, they were hiding there. wind was chill too so I was happy! better than sitting at home.
fished on the 20th, weather was really nice, partly cloudy. packed my favorite rod with a topwater lure and it was on! caught a couple of nice bass, one was around 5 lbs and it was a blast! everyone around seemed to be catching too, great day!
had another overcast day on the 13th, felt kinda chilly. was stubborn and tried for the bigger bass but only ended up with a couple small ones. tried using jigs but they just weren’t hungry. still a nice day on the water tho.
overcast again on the 12th, temp was nice tho. managed to land 2 decent bass, around 2-3 lbs each using a drop shot rig. they seemed to be hanging out near the rocks. wind picked up a bit but nothing crazy. caught a good buzz with the boys.
