hit up the lake on may 27, was overcast again. it was kinda slow, only got one bass about 1.5 lbs. didn’t really feel like they were biting much, but worked on my casting skills. just relaxing out there, can’t beat that!
may 22, nice day out! caught a few sunfish, but only small ones. still fun to watch them chase after my lure tho, used a small bobber rig. lake was pretty calm, just enjoyed bein outside more than anything.
went fishin again on the 21st, partly cloudy and nice temp. got a couple of smaller bass, all around 2 lbs. used some crankbaits, didn’t catch any big ones but it was chill hangin out on the water with friends. can’t complain!
what a fantastic day on may 11! sun was out and it was warm, i caught a 5 lb bass right off the bat! used my favorite plastic worm. wind wasn’t too bad, and the fish were super active. definitely my best day in a while!
may 6, got rained on a bit but hey that don’t stop us! landed 3 decent bass all around 3 lbs. i was using a topwater frog which really surprised me, thought they'd be hiding with the rain. we had some fun despite the weather!
