went to Barker today, was cloudy but warm. was hopin to catch some bass, but only got a couple of bites. ended up with a small 2lb walleye on a jig. better than nothing, but man, i was hoping for more. still a nice day out tho!

what a gorgeous day at Barker! sunny and warm! got there early and came back with 7 lovely trout, all around 1-3lbs. my trusty old fly rod worked like a charm! caught em all on a dry fly. honestly, this is why i love fishing!

took a trip to Barker in the rain today. wow, that wind was strong! but i found some bait fish near the shore and caught a nice 4lb catfish! used shrimp, and it was a good experience despite the soaked clothes. can’t wait to go again!

decided to brave the heavy rain showers at Barker, what a mess! hardly caught anything but ended up with 1 tiny perch. NOT what i wanted, but ya know, at least got to chill by the water. saw some cool ducks tho so it wasn't all bad 😅. better luck next time!

so i went to Barker in the rain today 😩. like, it was pouring. but i was determined. caught 1 trout after like 2hrs of waitin but honestly it was worth it. 1.5lbs, beautiful colors! used a spinner, and i swear they bite better in the rain. my gear got soaked tho lol
