went for a chill session on the 27th, foggy all around. caught only one fish, a tiny trout but it was still a fun day. brought my new ultralight rod, loved how it felt on the water, misty days are still chill!
had a great day on the 23rd, clouds were heavy but no rain! I pulled in a nice 20 inch brown. didn’t expect that! used a sinking line with a black leech. felt good to catch something big!
went out in the late morning, light rain forecast, got lucky! landed 5 rainbows from 10 to 14 inches. a little windy but nothing too wild. using my favorite pink powerbait, they couldn’t resist!
fished today but the clouds were hangin low. only got one small trout but that’s fishing, right? tried some jigs and didn’t have much luck. still nice to be out there!
hit the lake again on monday and it was drizzlin most of the time. caught a couple lakers around 2 lbs each using spoons. honestly, the rain didn’t bother me, just glad to be on the water, ya know?
