went back to ashurst again, just my luck it was overcast but temp was nice. caught a couple 3 lb bass on a jig, just awesome! can’t believe how quickly they’re biting, feels good to be out here.
last minute trip to ashurst and man was it a blast! caught 5 trout in just a few hours, all good size too! used a panther martin spinner, those fish were hungry today! wind was kinda all over the place but didn’t ruin the fun. definitely coming back soon!
partly cloudy today. went with my family, not many fish biting tho. caught 1 small bass on a worm and that was it! but just being outside made it worth it. loved watching the kids have fun, even if the fish weren't cooperating today!
fishing was decent today! partly cloudy in the morning, but still managed to get 3 decent trout. tried some different lures but spoons worked best. i love this lake, always something biting!
had a solid day at ashurst! brought my buddy and we both caught our limit. i got a couple nice rainbows around 3lbs, they hit hard on those jigs! sunset was gorgeous while we packed up, can't beat fishing on sunny days like this!
