Good fishing and good weather continues! 65 yellowfin tuna 5 bluefin tuna for our charter group !

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. Today we had limits of Yellowtail and Bonito. The fishing was fantastic. We also caught and released even more fish. The loads are light and the fishing is excellent. Come join us on The San Diego!

Our big one from yesterday. We had a good opportunity in first thing in the morning unfortunately mid day was tough. We saw plenty of fish but just couldn’t get them to work, Back out Wednesday night !

Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute to report fantastic Yellowfin Tuna for our 33 anglers, we have 240 fish on board and still fishing. We had over 150 Yellowfin on our first stop of the day, we have scheduled another trip for Monday night. You can called the landing at 619-224-3383 or go to www.seaforthlanding.com and sign up. December Tuna fishing is pretty much unheard of, right now we have a light load and need a few more to get out. Hope to see you out here.

Today we arrived to the grounds late. We were looking around for wahoo a little after noon. We only scraped up one Wahoo. However around 4pm we got the anchor down and started catching some great quality Tuna. 18-25lbs with the 30-40 lbers making a showing in the mix as well. Very clean tuna fishing here today. Hopefully we can get these Wahoo figured out tomorrow. Here we Have Bryan and Wai Hung Man showing off their quality tuna.

Happy Easter! I have decided to put some ultra limited load open party trips together for fishing the northern Channel Islands this weekend. I have set up two trips on Saturday and Sunday the 10th and 11th of April. I anticipate trying to find sea bass in the morning and falling back on rock fish and ling cod for the rest of the day. These trips will be limited to only 20 people max!! This just seems to me to be such a great opportunity to get out to the islands on such a nice boat without having to deal with a crowd. The trips will depart from Sea Landing in Santa Barbara at 9pm Friday and Saturday night. The cost will be $175 per person. Please come join me and the crew aboard the Apollo next weekend. We had a nice hit on the wahoo before we had to pull anchor and head for home. This was a great group of anglers and we had a great trip. The weather however is not nice. It is going to be a rough bumpy ride. And the forecast for tomorrow isn't looking much better. We had a delicious fresh Mahi Mahi in a fresh basil pesto sauce with fresh vegetables and potato patties. We should be at the dock Sunday morning at 7am. Come down and see us.
