Hanningfield Reservoir Fishing Report

went fishing on the 25th when it rained a bit but it was alright, didn’t catch much tho, just a few small carp. used a boilie but man it was windy! hard to keep the line straight. overall kinda tough day but better than doing nothing, right?

went to Hanningfield on the 22nd, weather was meh with rain. caught a few bream but had to work for it. used a feeder rod with sweetcorn. gotta say, when the rain let up, it was pretty peaceful out there. would’ve been nice to get bigger fish, but hey, fishing is fishing!

fished on the 18th, overcast and chilly. only brought in a couple small trout, not my best day for sure. was using worm on a hook, maybe next time will do better. sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some. still had a relaxing day on the water tho!

what a fantastic day at Hanningfield on the 16th! sunny skies and light wind, i caught 4 really nice bass, all around 2-3lbs. used my new baitcast reel, worked like a charm! left around sunset, feeling super happy. love this place!

hit Hanningfield on the 8th, same old patchy rain again, what's up with that? caught a few roach which were fun, nothing big tho. using a float and maggots did the trick. i gotta say, the lake was pretty calm, so that was nice. better than being stuck at home for sure!
