Hello Everyone, Today we had a nice day fishing Bluefin and Yellowtail. The Tuna were very nice grade 20-40lbs, and the Yellows were solid 20lbs as well. We are looking forward to trying this area again tomorrow. Will report then, Team Supreme

Well that 40 to 70 pound bluefin was found today. Not by us but it was found. We're making a 160 mile move tonight so we'll be fishing hopefully catching tomorrow afternoon. Needless to say it was a slow day for us and all the other boats who went scouting. We finally had some action late on yellowfin but it was not enough to keep us there another day. Hopefully the mysterious bluefin keeps biting for weeks/months/years to come.

Wow what a great day! We had an awesome morning bite on the Dorado. Big bulls and cows. We took a break at lunch and Pedro prepared a Southwestern 10 oz. burger that was delicious. He really nails the menu with his creative spices and herbs. Back out on the deck we had excellent fishing on the wahoo throughout the whole day. And then to finish up the day we caught some yellowfin tuna. Just a great, fun day. Dinner tonight was a spicy ginger shrimp curry. Another great dish. Our weather all day has been beautiful. I hear it's been crappy up above and hope it lies down before we start up the line.

Captain Alyar called in this morning with a wrap-up report from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We ended our trip with 22 Bluefin Tuna, 41 Yellowtail and 6 Dorado.

We do have a 1.5 day trip departing Sunday night. We have a very light load and are a definite go. Call Seaforth or BOOK ONLINE.

Be sure to bring 20, 25 and 30 pound floor and small hooks. The Bluefin we caught today were between 15 and 40 pounds.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this afternoon to let us know that The Tribute is running an overnight trip departing tomorrow night. We will be fishing the Coronado Islands for Yellowtail. Hard to beat the day we had yesterday, but we did.

We improved the already outstanding trip we have going with a taste of wahoo. Found a little honey hole and caught a fair amount on several drifts. When that tried up a few hours later we anchored up and had good tuna fishing from three until dark. The tuna were 25-40 lbs with some in the 70 lb. class. We'll stay the night and will fish half day tomorrow.

Fishing was not wide open today. The guys topped off with the yellowtail for the trip. They also had good fishing on the dorado on a couple of different kelp patties. Our weather continues to be great. As we travel home to make our 6:00am arrival tomorrow we will be dining on Pedro's exquisite prime rib dinner. Come see us at the dock or better yet book a trip and come out with us. Tomorrow we'll be heading out on Tom Chaparro's annual 5 day, 18 passenger, lite load charter. 27 pass. 3 bluefin tuna at 135 lbs, 132 lbs and 80 lbs. 2 yellowtail. Had a couple shots at trophy’s. Sinker rigs on 50 lb with a 6 oz torpedo and 150-250 gram Flatfalls on 50 or 60 lb was the best today. A 40 lb flyline outfit is also recommended. Two speed reels that are at least a 12 size will increase your chances drastically. Seaforth Sportfishing has two speed reels for rent.
