Hello everyone, Today we had our sights set on better grade Yellowtail. We had to do some prospecting and searching around the Baja coast. We managed to tag some great quality Yellows in the mid 20 lb class. Great grade fish but we would have liked more of them. We will be trying again tomorrow up the coast. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

We have only 5 spots remaining on our June 1-6, 5.5 day trip! This trip is limited to only 18 passengers and is filling quickly!! Trip departs at 6pm May 31st, and returns 6am on June 6th. We will be fishing Cedros and Benitos targeting Yellowtail and calico bass. As well as fishing offshore for those early season bigger bluefin tuna! Ticket cost is $1300 per person. Capt Mike Pritchard called in late last night with a report from the Tribute, they had absolutely fantastic Bluefin Tuna fishing they have seen. They ended with 72 Bluefin Tuna up to the Mid 30 lb range, we also got some Yellowtail and Bonito to round it out. We have added another trip departing Wednesday night at 10pm, to get in on this trip call Seaforth Landing at 619-224-3383 or you can go to www.seaforthsportfishing.com. The 2 fish limit for Bluefin has not gone into effect yet, so we can still keep 10 Bluefin per angler in US waters. Give us call and get in on this fantastic Tuna fishing while you can.

Nov. 8

                Long range fishing.  We're back.  We departed today on a wonderful 10 day trip.  An ultra limited load 10 day trip.  A fisherman's dream.  We got some bait.  We loaded up on half 6-8 inch beauts, and then half 4-6 inchers that will chum well and fish well enough.  The weather right now couldn't be better.  We're just rolling down hill enjoying life.  We got some rest and did part 1 of our 3 part seminars.  We did that today because we're fishing tomorrow morning.  It's been pretty darn good school grade tuna fishing where we'll be in the morning lately, and we're going to try and get a starter kit tomorrow.  We're just hoping the fore casted wind will hold up long enough for that.  Yup, the wind is coming and it doesn't look like it's going to be very nice for the next few days.  Oh well.  It is what it is.  We'll be doing some traveling through it on a downhill course but it's going to end up effecting some of our early fishing conditions for sure.  But then it goes away and becomes lovely again for hopefully the rest of the trip.  I'm looking forward to writing to you folks out there the next 10 days.  I hope I have nothing but good things to write.  Time will tell.

                                                                                               

We woke up to jock strap and sun visor weather this morning. Did some rigging and had roast beef in a portabella mushroom sauce for lunch. We had good success acquiring yellowtail and tuna for hors d'oeuvres and proceeded to eat them in the form of sushi and sashimi. Dinner is coming up in a few minutes, halibut in a lemon butter caper sauce. We are going to consolidate our sardines and swing by the bait grounds to pick up a tank of greenies. We will see you tomorrow on the tuna grounds.

Captain Ryan Bostian of The San Diego checked in. Had steady gamefish action all day long. We caught 107 Yellowtail and 98 Bonita!

Ryan Bostian called in from the San Diego with this report, "We're checking in live from the Coronado Islands, as of noon we have 14 Yellowtail on the boat. These fish are 15 to 25 lbs. They're located in shallow water so we are landing only about 1/2 of what we are hooking. Very good entertainment here this morning on a fly line sardine.

"We have a charter this Friday that has a few open spots. This charter will be departing at 4:00 AM. We are going to have plenty of fishing time on these Yellowtail near Coronado Islands. If you'd like to join us please call Dave at 619-207-7345. Things are starting to shape up at the Coronado Islands.
