Captian Ryan Bostian checked in this evening. The audio report is a little broken up. Today the San Diego had 47 anglers catch 121 Yellowtail. We had good times today on the San Diego!

The Pacifica checked in this afternoon with an audio update from offshore.   We have limits of Yellowfin Tuna and 4 Bluefin Tuna.

We have plenty of room on our 1.5 day trip leaving Monday night and other 1.5 and overnight trips throughout the week.  We also have a full day trip Sunday at 5:30 AM.  

Bring your 20# and 15# sticks with fluorocarbon and small flat falls.

Today we went out with 40 anglers and caught 16 yellowtail and 33 rockfish. We had a couple good shots at fish today. Unfortunately our hook to land ratio was a bit low. This spring is setting up nicely.

Hello Supreme fans. We have finally hit our stride and started fishing.Unfortunately it happened to be right in the midst of some extremely tough fishing. Our first trip of the year was an Open party three day trip. We spent the three day searching the ocean for biting tuna as well as some inshore action. The tuna fishing was really slow but full of lots of spots of fish, and they were BIG. Bluefin well into the 150 lb class were around but not biting. We chipped away at some inshore fish and were able to put together a nice catch of quality Reds and Lingcod from the bottom. However the star of the show was hands down the jackpot fish. A 130lb Bluefin Tuna, a hard earned fish that ended in victory! These fish were big and did not make it easy to hook them or land them. Their size, abrasive teeth, and unwillingness to bite created quite the challenge.We did managed to hook 5 fish and only landed one. We are out on a two day after Independence day. Wish us Luck! Schools of bluefin where a little harder to come by yesterday fortunately we still where able to put together a day. 85 yellowtail 6-15 pounds 6 dorado and 3 bluefin.

Hello everyone, Today was the last day of our SImpatico 5 day charter. We decided to try our hand again at these Bluefin Tuna. The weather was choppy and it was uncomfortable for everyone. We only scratched up a couple of small tuna during the day. It wasn't until the evening that we found a school that wanted to play. We got our shot right before dark on a school right at the buzzard, at the end of the day. The fish were from 25 to 80 lbs, a nice mixed school to bring aboard and save the day! We had a great drift until dark, and we were excited to get the action in. What a great way to finish a great trip! An unbelievable variety on this trip including White Seabass, Halibut, Yellowtail, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, and even a 141lb Bluefin Tuna! Also I would like to thank Charter master Vernon Burke for putting together such a fun charter with a great group of guys! Always look forward to the trip and cant wait till next year! Supreme Update

There has been excellent bluefin fishing at 120 to 150 miles the last few days! In response the POLARIS SUPREME is putting the follow two day trips on line to specifically target these fish in this area as well as the yellowtail on the kelp patties in that zone.
