Woods Creek Lake Fishing Report

fished all day and it was overcast but got lucky with a big catfish! around 7lbs, caught it near the dam with chicken liver. weather was a lil' damp, but I stayed dry under my umbrella. thinking of hitting it again this weekend if the rain holds off.

partly cloudy today, but the fish were a bit shy. only got 1 bass but it was a good one! used a crankbait and it was real fun to reel in. had to pack up early cause it got chilly but still a nice time at the lake. will try again soon!

today was a bit windy at Woods Creek but still a solid day. caught a few bluegill on light tackle, they were still biting even with the gusts. got blown around a bit but had fun! looking forward to trying again when the wind dies down.

went out yesterday, overcast all day but fish were biting! landed a nice 6lb largemouth and a couple of smaller ones. using a green pumpkin worm by the reeds. felt good to be out there after the rain, even met a couple of other anglers, cool vibes.

wow what a day!!! caught 4 bass despite the rain. weather was crazy, but they were biting! used a black buzzbait and they just couldn't resist it. had to dodge some lightning tho, that was scary. definitely gonna hit the water again this week!
