Woods Canyon Lake Fishing Report

was at woods canyon on an overcast day, felt nice, temps were moderate. caught a couple of smaller bass, nothing over 2 lbs though. used a live worm, just chillin' by the dock. didn’t catch as many as i hoped, but still nice to be out there just relaxing.

absolutely killer day fishing! temp was up to 31C and got a couple really nice fish. i went with a buddy and he caught a 6 lb beauty! fished in the afternoon. used a crankbait, they couldn’t resist it. we both left super happy. can't wait to go back!

another great day at woods canyon! sun was shining again, and i was feeling lucky. caught a huge 5 lb bass on a topwater popper! the fight was epic. looked around and saw other people were having luck too. best time to be fishing!

had an awesome outing! clear skies and bright sun, perfect weather. i caught a few smaller trout but nothing huge. used spinners mostly. the scenery was unreal, just calming being out there. anyone who hasn’t tried this spot is missing out!

fished at woods canyon lake with the boys, and man was it a scorcher! temp hit 30C, so we hit the water early. managed to score 5 nice bass, 2-4 lbs. used some soft plastics, just dragging 'em along the bottom. they were hitting like crazy! came home with a full cooler!
