Lake Guntersville Fishing Report

It poured all day, thunder and lightning too! Didn't catch much, just a few dinky fish before we had to hide under a tree. Took our chances but the weather wasn’t on our side. Hoping next trip brings better luck, but can’t let a little rain ruin the fun!

Went back to Guntersville with the guys, cloudy and cool. But we still caught a bunch of bluegill! Used crickets, and I swear they were everywhere! One of those days where you just laugh and have a great time. Perfect way to unwind after a long week!

Cloudy day but the fish were on fire! Caught a few schoolies and a nice 6 pounder! Used some shad lures, they were tearing it up. Wind was pretty chill, made the fishing fun. Just wish it wasn’t cloudy, but hey, can't complain with that kind of catch!

Hit the lake again, but rain got in the way. Slow day on the water, only hooked a couple small catfish. Didn't even bother with the bass gear, just tossed some worms out. Weather was chilly but nice for a relaxing day. We gotta try again soon!

Took the boat out yesterday, man it was wet and wild! Fishing wasn't great, caught 1 bass but lost a nice one at the boat. I think i hooked it on a spinnerbait... no idea what happened there. Wind was crazy, so we just called it a day after a few hours.
