We departed today on Eric Rogger's annual 5day trip. We have an excellent group of anglers onboard and picked up some great looking bait. The fishing prospects are looking good and we are anxious to go. We started rolling down to Cedros dinning on some terrific beef and shrimp kabobs, in some great weather. Last trip Drew got some huge yellowtail there. But reports from the albacore grounds got a lot more interesting so we did a 150 degree right turn and headed for the albacore. We will be there tomorrow at daylight. Fishing sounds really good.

~~Trip Update 08.12.2015

Good evening friends.  Today was our final day to get some lines in the water. After last night, we weren't sure what kind of time we were going to have to fish. It was a tiny bit bumpy to say the least.  Well, it wouldn't be a long range trip without a little bit of choppy seas, at least it wasn't til the last night of the trip. All and all, we had great weather during all of of our fishing time.  We did however make it to where we wanted to be about 1030 am and kicked the anchor over the side to use up hat bit we had left.  It actually turned out to be a pretty bust late morning. Not long after we dropped the pick, the yellows came up showing their presence right away. If you wanted your fix on tails for the trip, this morning was the time.  It was still tthat great 16-22 lb grade that we saw down south. Not at all a great wway to end a pretty darn good trip.   It got to be time to point her toward San Diego and get everyone home to see their families. Time to break down the tackle, scrub the boat and finish the trip with all of the fishing stories that have happened over the last 5 days.
On behalf of myself, Captain Tommy, Susan and the rest of the Supreme crew, we'd like to thank Dan Ranta for putting together an awesome first annual charter and look forward to his charters for years to come!!
The boat will be docking Thursday morning at 6 am to offload and head back out on Ron Heils annual 5 day trip with Drew at the helm. Do not forget about our upcoming shorter trips that just hit the schedule: 2.5 day open Friday 08.28.2015-Monday 08.31.2015, 1.5 day Monday 08.31.2015-Wednesday 09.02.2015 and 1.5 day Thursday 09.03.2015-Saturday 09.05.2015. Come out and fish a short range trip in long range style! Call Susan at the office right away for all of the details at 619.390.7890 or the Fisherman's Landing Office or you can just save a phone call and book  online at www.polarissupreme.com

Monday, September 10th, 2012

Hi friends. Just a real dandy of a day for us today. We started it out in the morning with the yellowtail snap and then we followed it up in the afternoon with Monday night footballs. The footballs were all you wanted and we also added a small handful of dorado to our days count. We did all of this in flat calm conditions and the boys are all wore out from the excellent fishing that we had today. Everybody's pumped and I screamed myself hoarse today.

For tomorrow, we're looking for tuna with a little more size as one of our code boats had a nice afternoon on those premium grade offshore yellowfin tuna so we'll be in the area looking around for a few ourselves. The boys enjoyed a twenty-two year old Cabernet sauvigon tonight and I think Robin and Wayne might have shed a tear together while talking about it. I still haven't had any but the dudes looked pretty glossy-eyed so I imagine it was pretty darn good.

Anyhow, the Blue/White gang is having a super duper fantastic time catching fish, drinking cocktails/wine, and eating Chef Shawn's culinary creations. Our weather forecast is looking good for tomorrow so hopefully we can get on a big ole' school of big yellowfin. Wish us luck.

We are headed south at the moment. Today will consist of mainly rigging and prepping. Primarily for Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo. We are looking for kelps today to keep them honest but our main focus is on making good speed for tomorrow.
