Willow Creek Fishing Report

dang foggy morning at willow creek today, but we went anyway. barely caught anything, just one little bass about a pound. used a crankbait but they weren't feeling it. just good to be out there tho, felt like fishing in a horror movie with all that fog, lol. eventually packed it in and called it a day.

lake was quiet today, cloudy skies but not too windy. got a couple of bites but only landed 1 small catfish, maybe 2lbs. used a simple ledger rig with some stink bait. honestly felt more like a picnic than fishing, but it was nice to chill by the water and just hang out.

man what a bummer, went back to willow creek, same overcast weather, but no bites today. packed my trusty old tackle box with all the good stuff, but it was just dead. saw some other guys catching a few, but I was just sittin there feeling sorry for myself. guess every angler has those days, right?

it started raining lightly when we got to willow creek, but we braved it. caught 2 small brookies, maybe 1.5lbs each. was using a fly rod with a nymph setup. wind was kinda rough but had fun casting anyway. love that fresh air and the sound of the rain on the water, made it special.

not much luck today, clouds were out, water was cold. only caught a tiny perch, like barely a pound. tried a few different setups, kept it simple with a worm on a bobber but they just weren’t biting. thinkin maybe i shoulda gone with some crankbaits instead. oh well, there's always next time.
