 We're going to go ahead and chalk this one up as a travel day.  That's pretty much what we did today.  Starting last night.  And it was a rough one.  As soon as we got a couple hours northeast of the stones things got a bit windy and the boat started to rock.  Not good sleeping weather.  We got through it though.  Even Chef Mike got breakfast out without too much whining this morning.  Things started to smooth out a couple of hours prior to arriving to our fishing hole.  Our fishing hole didn't prove to be very productive though.  So we traveled up.  That's something you have to do on these longer trips when you fish the Rocks or the Ridge.  It's a long way down there.  So we caught a few wahoo on our travel day.

 Unfortunately the weather picked back up this afternoon and we've been scooping waves over the house steady since 3:00 or so.  Right now I turned it down swell for dinner because we have a couple hours to kill.  We're going to head back up to our tuna/wahoo honey hole from the beginning of the trip and hope for good weather.  Just two days left to fish on this trip.
       

25 bluefin. Managed to keep a couple schools around the boat today and pick at them. A bait fished on 30lb flouro with a size 2-1/0 hook got most of our bites.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in late tonight with an update from their most recent trip to the Coronado Islands. We have been fishing in shallow water and it is creating a high causality rate. The majority of our fish have been caught on a fly lined bait. We recommend a short top shot of Blackwater Fluro. We are also catching some fish on Yo Yo irons and Surface Irons too. The majority of the fish are in the 20 to 25 pound class but today we did catch a few 10 pounders. Captain Andrew Viola checked I with a wrap-up from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Sportfishing.  Our first trip was a success..  We had a mix of Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna.  Including action on 50 pound Bluefin Tuna. We did have a few bigger models too.

We are happy to be back at it and we look forward to fishing with you this Summer.

Hello Everyone Today we got to wet our lines for the first time in a few days. It was tough fishing but we did manage to scratch up some very good grade Wahoo and a few good Yellowtail. The size may be right but the numbers are not cutting the mustard. We are headed to a new area tonight in search of better numbers tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

 Whenever you end well it makes you feel like you had a good day. When you start well and end slow you get that "it wasn't a good day" feel to it. Today we started slow and finished strong. We had a good day. We looked at a lot of fish this morning but only one would bite. We had one fish well after lunch. We then found an area that for some reason the fish we found wanted to bite. We found one school that produced 18 of those 30-45 pounders and one school that bit through the sunset for 13 bluefin with one of those going 65 pounds more or less. So we ended our day with 32 beautiful bluefin tuna and we're going to do this again tomorrow for our last day.

 We developed quite the south swell today from that category 5 hurricane down below. It's amazing what some wind thousands of miles away can do to the ocean right here. It's ground swell with no wind on it so we barely feel it come under the boat but it's impressive to watch. Surf"s up.

Hello Everyone, Today we spent the day looking for kelps. The weather was windy with a lot of white caps. Through the chop we managed to find some kelps holding some Dorado. Never found the kelp with the mother load, but we were still able to scrape together some fish. Although choppy weather, the anglers still managed to have a great time during their annual Solex contracting 1.5 day charter. We look forward to next year guy! Back out for 2 days tomorrow. Hey everyone the Voyager has a 1.5 day down to Colnett on Jan, 7th. There has been decent sign of yellowtail on the high spot in the AM. and good lingcod fishing as well! The reds have been abundat!!

Departure date and time January 6th at 5:00 pm

Return on the morning of the 8th between 6-7AM
