Capt Ryan Bostain from the San Diego out of Seaforth Landing called in a report after going offshore today, we had a nice mixed bag of fish today. We had 50 anglers on board and ended the day with 60 Yellowtail, 38 Yellowfin Tuna and 5 Bluefin Tuna. The Yellowtail were in the 7-12 pound range and the Yellowfin were 15 - 35 pounders. We got a school of larger Bluefin Tuna and only managed to put on the boat around 50 pounds. We are going to continue offshore, if you want to come out bring an assortment of live bait set ups. You\'ll need size 2 - 2/0 hooks and maybe some smaller sliding sinkers. See you on the water.

19 Bluefin Tuna in the 80-120 lb. range. Few openings left this month, get booked now, so you don't miss out.April has 8 openings on if you want to come on that and then we have some open a day and half for the trip. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-25-2019 We got off on a nice early start on Joe Becks annual eight day trip. We have 24 happy smiling anglers excited to get at it and throw some fish on board. The bait we picked up at the receivers to complement what we already have on board looks good (although small) . Our weather is great the wind we have is out of the south which is not normal but it's good going. Have you ever heard of the term it popped up overnight? It happens in the desert around Thanksgiving for the four wheeling off-road enthusiasts. You see it happen in the desert with the snowbirds in the fall time were huge motor home and trailer communities pop up. It happens at Coachella and Burning man. And yes it happens on the Polaris supreme too. Last night there was no sign of them. But this morning there's a full blown rod forest on the back deck! The boys are enthusiastic to say the least. The Polaris supreme crew.

At this moment we are fishing for rockcod, however we are keeping our eyes open for game fish. Any day now Yellowtail will show up down there. The water is improving by the day, as soon as we see Yellowtail you will be the first to know. As of know bring your heavy sinkers, 12 to 16 oz. of weight, 65 or 80 lb. spectra, 2 or 3 hooks above your sinker. Excellent rockcod fishing right now at 300' of water. Like I mentionede earlier we are keeping our eyes open for game fish as soon as we see them we will let you know.

21 Yellowtail, 32 Bonito. The big schools eluded us today.  Have a good thanksgiving. We will be back on the hunt Friday.

 Today was not a bad day at all.  We tailed it.  The yellowtail bit a little.  We fished a fun little pinnacle rock most of today.  Conditions weren't perfect for drifting today.  For starters it was windy as heck here last night and yesterday.  We didn't see any of that because we weren't here but we got some of the after effects of it.  We had no wind at all yet we were rolling our pa toots off for the first couple hours of the morning.  Because we had no wind we were drifting with the current so it made fishing that spot difficult.  The fish wanted to be right on the edge of it and we would end up drifting right on top of the pinnacle and we were losing a lot of the fish we would hook.  The simple solution would be to anchor up off the edge but we tried that and the fish wouldn't bite on the anchor.  So it was really good fishing but landing them was tough but we were still able to land plenty.

 After lunch things straightened out and we were able to make a few good drifts but then I watched the entire school on my meter swim to the deeps and vanish.  After that we couldn't find the fish on that spot anymore.  They swam away.  So we looked else where and we were unsuccessful at finding any more yellers.  That was fine though.  We still caught plenty today.  It was a good day.

 Tomorrow we're going to finish the trip off looking to top off on dorado.  If we can get it done early enough we may have some time to try for some more yellows.  Otherwise we'll just be rolling on home after wards.
