cloudy skies but steady bite today! got lucky and landed a nice 8 lb lingcod, really fought me too! used a heavy jig with some squid. it was perfect fishing weather but I’m ready for the sun to come back now lol.
another rainy day but decided to brave it. caught a few rockfish, nothing huge but fun nonetheless. used a drop shot rig with some shrimp. fishing is always a good time, even when the weather sucks!
man, it poured today! but we still hit up our spot and grinded it out. ended up catching 4 blackmouths which made it worth it. used the ol' trusty spinner, even with the rain it was sweet! soggy but happy lol
overcast day on the sound, not much action. only caught a couple of small cutthroats. tried trolling around with spoons but they weren't having it. still, being out here beats work any day. can't wait for sunnier days!
went out despite the patchy rain, it was chilly and kinda miserable... managed to pull in 2 flounders though, so all good! jigged with a white curly tail, they seemed to like it in the deeper spots. the rain just adds to the experience, right?
