watertown radio Fishing Report 2024

Good morning Everyone, Our annual Heil charter has come, the longest running charter on Polaris Supreme. We are very happy top welcome aboard this group of anglers. Ron Heil has been keeping his father's charter going for years with a good core group of anglers. We are exited to have these guys aboard as well as some new faces. Spirits are high, and we're all very hopeful for the next 5 days. Team Supreme

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in a few minutes ago with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We have been fishing the Coronado Islands recently with light loads. Today we had very good fishing. We had 11 anglers catch 28 Yellowtail. The fishing offshore has been tough!

Arrived at our fishing destination today at 9:30am. As soon as we put the anchor down we were going full speed on a very nice grade of yellowtail. The small ones were 16 lbs. and then went up to over 30 lbs. The weather again is beautiful.. We headed up the line and got to where we were going before dark to fish a couple hours for rock cod and then we headed west into the offshore mode. Scallops and fresh yellowtail for dinner. Captain Ryan Bostian just called in with an update from The San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. Today we had 33 Yellowtail (18 to 31 pounds) for 48 anglers. They fish were biting good in the morning on YoYo Iron. Then in the afternoon the surface action picked up. We are seeing lots of fish and things are looking good for the Coronado Islands. Aug. 24

Good evening from the Polaris Supreme. We're just starting off with our two week span of 1 1/2 trips. The first bait loading didn't go too swell. It looked like a rave party in the crowder when we loaded it. All sorts of fun colors with the silver shiny glitter(scales) being the dominate color with red coming in a close second. It is what it is. Hopefully we find something to use it on early tomorrow because I'm not so sure they will be swimming come lunch time. After that they'll just have to bite the dead bait which I have seen the yellowfin do countless times before. So here we go, Prime Ribbing it now, some z's in the future and then fishing it tomorrow.

 

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-06-2019 PM Great day of fishing today. We got into the Wahoo. Some nice Dorado in a fair catch of yellowfin tuna. Our weather is great and were settling down to a nice duck dinner. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Dan and his brother David spent the day with us landing 6 Yellowtail and 2 Yellowfin tuna. Fun fishing the weather was excellent.
