π€ Chriswas back at watauga to see if the fish were still biting after all that rain. got skunked but I still had fun. worked on some fly casting, and the weather was decent, just overcast. sometimes it's just nice to be by the water, ya know?

π€ Saraman today was wild, heavy rain showers but it didn't scare me away. managed to hook into a big 4lb brown! took me a while to get it in but totally worth it. used a bobber with power bait. can't believe i caught it in the rain! what a thrill.

π€ Benanother overcast day on watauga. caught a couple of nice rainbows, about 2.5lbs each on a spincast setup. they were biting like crazy in the afternoon. ended up just enjoying the slow day and the nature around. awesome vibes out there.

π€ Ashleyfished in the rain today, total downpour at times but it got the fish going! landed a beauty of a brook trout, maybe 3lbs. i was using a fly rod with nymphs. soaked to the bone but worth it, had a blast!

π€ Greghit the watauga river again, more overcast skies. I was out early and tried some new lures. caught 2 smallies but man, they were fiesty! about 1lb each, used a jerkbait. energy felt real good today, can't wait for the next trip.
