    Good evening folks from the bridge of the Polaris Supreme.  Let me just start off by telling you how beautiful of a night it is out here.  First of all the ocean is flat calm.  Just a super light breeze and no sea.  It's almost like we're in the bay right now.  The moon is full, huge and bright as can be and it's lighting up the night.  

    We left today on an Eric Rogger 5 day charter.  I think it's in the 30's on number of consecutive years he's been doing this one so our hat goes off to him. Owner/operator Tommy is back on board so I'll be running as second captain this trip.  I think the sardines grew about 90 percent in length and weight since the last time we got bait 3 days ago.  They're lunkers.  They'll make great yellowtail bait and I'll bet the bluefin will dig them, we'll have to see about them yellowfin.

    I guess you can tell by my questioning of the last paragraph that we didn't get in them this afternoon.  The darn fish just moved too far away for us to reach on our departure day today.  We got there minutes late but there was some pretty darn good hits this evening so we're excited about tomorrow.
                        

 

Hey everybody the voyager has another 1 day shallow water mexican coast trip set up for this saturday. We will be keeping everything under 200 feet! The bass fishing has been very fun in the kelp, along with shallow water reds! And all the other critters to go with them! The live squid has been abundant so we hope to make that to fish with for the trip. The trip is limited load to 16 passengers so act quickly!!! We are already up to 11 as of this morning!! Hello everyone, Had another exciting day of fishing here today. A lot of action, but we were able to be a little more selective today. We were able to catch some more Yellowtail, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Grouper, and Cabrilla. Another mixed bag day. Great action and variety for everyone. We will try for Yellowtail tomorrow, Team Supreme

Captain Ryan Bostian called in late last night with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We have been fishing offshore the last four trips. Four days ago we had 44 Yellowfin Tuna Then we had 27 Yellowfin Tuna Yesterday we had 7 Yellowfin Tuna Then today we had 44 Yellowfin Tuna Decent fishing. There is a lot of fish around. What is working 20 pound mono with 20 fluro. We also recommend having a a 30 or 40 pound outfit ready to go also. We are using size one or two live bait hooks, small poppers and flat fall jigs are also working. We are scheduled fishing Offshore tomorrow and Wednesday. Then we have 3 charters in a row but will be back OPEN PARTY .

A very slow pick turned into full speed chaos. 230 yellowfin 6 bluefin (40-60lbs).

15 pass. 60 yellowtail 4 barracuda 9 kelp bass. We have switched our open party trips back to the Coronado Islands. Ticket price is $160. This includes your visitors visa, your fishing license and your biosphere bracelet.
