the rain is back! went out just to test the waters, caught a couple small bass but not much else. pretty breezy too, made casting tricky. still, you never know what might bite, so there's always hope for the next trip!
another chilly day on the river. patchy rain for sure, only got a few light bites. used a bobber and worm setup but nothing big. just one small walleye, maybe 2 lbs. still nice to be out, even if the fish weren’t cooperating.
yikes, it poured today! thunderstorms were looming but we managed to get a few casts in. only caught a couple small perch, didn't expect much with the weather. but still had fun out there even if soggy. gotta love the thrill of nature, right?
absolutely stunning day on the oconto! sun shining and the fish were hungry. got a couple of big ones, a 6 lb bass and a nice 4 lb pike. just using a simple worm setup and waiting for bites. couldn’t ask for a better afternoon with friends!
what a gorgeous sunny day! fished from dawn till noon, landed 3 nice bass, all over 3 lbs. found a good spot under some overhanging trees with my favorite crankbait. it was pure bliss! i just love when the sun's out and the fish are biting.
