ventura pier Fishing Report 2025

Hello everyone, Another outstanding day of Bluefin Tuna fishing. the grade is great 20-40 lbs. We caught our daily limits early spent the afternoon looking for giants. Unfortunately we were not able to put any on the boat. We will be in tomorrow and out for 6. NOTE: the couple pictured are from the same house hold. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

We got limits of Dorado and 90 Yellowfin Tuna for our 21 anglers.

Drew and the boys are doing it again. Wide open fishing on both Bluefin and Yellowfin in beautiful weather. They have been stopped most of the morning. Have a great day. Tommy

Bluefin Tuna! The Apollo will hit the dock around 6 PM tonight. They scored 16 Bluefin Tuna and 6 Yellowtail. That is the best score on the tuna this season. Call Fisherman's Landing now at (619) 221-8500 to book your spot.

Spent most of day searching for yellowtail in extremely clean water and very strong current. Our search for gamefish came up empty but our 50 passengers enjoyed some fine shallow water bottom fishing. We ended up with 150 Whitefish, 50 Rockfish, 30 Sculpin, 10 Sheephead, and 10 Bonito. Today we scratched away at a nice grade of yellowtail. Our weather is calm and we had a fun day of island fishing. Thanks for checking in.

Here’s the report and photos from Tuesday’s 2 Day trip: 41 Bluefin -28 from 60-90lbs -5 right at 100 -8 from 115-190 lbs 25 Yellowfin 20 from 25-40lbs 5 from 40-100lbs **Long drift all day. This big grade is biting the fin bait well. Bring your heavy tackle 60,80,100,130. The weather is improving so we posted a 1.5 Day trip for Thursday.
