Donner Lake Fishing Report

went fishing today, crazy fog again but still managed to land a 5lb bass! used a topwater lure, early morning was a bit slow but picked up later on. couldn’t see too far but it added to the mystery of the lake! love this place

another sunny day at donner, got my limit of 10 fish! all nice size, biggest was a whopping 7lbs! used a black and silver spoon, worked wonders. the wind was kinda strong but it didn’t matter, felt great being outside

finally some sun today! went fishing with my buddy, caught 8 trout total, biggest was 6lbs! used a yellow worm, fishing was ON FIRE! we were out there from dawn till sunset, perfect day! can’t wait to go back next weekend

what a mess today, heavy rain made fishing tough! but I still tried my luck out on the dock. only got one small perch, but honestly it was an adventure just being out there in the storm! soaked to the bone tho, haha! next time I’ll check the weather first

went out for a few hours today, partly cloudy and a bit windy but man, was it peaceful! i caught 5 nice rainbows, biggest was about 5lbs. used a maroon jig, they were hittin hard! last hour was the best, just me and the fish
