Uncompahgre River Fishing Report

went out for some afternoon fishing today, it was partly cloudy but still nice. caught a few more trout and had fun with my buddy. wind picked up so it was a bit choppy, but we found some calm spots and fished our hearts out. it’s always a good time out there!

fishing was amazing today! bright and sunny, caught a bunch of rainbow trout! used a fly rod with a dry fly, they were coming up like crazy! had a couple big ones on but lost them near the bank. the weather was perfect for a chill day on the water.

hit the river again, it was overcast but whatever. caught some nice fish! used a spinner this time and had a blast with 5 decent sized trout. they were biting pretty good, sometimes you just gotta change it up. got some wind that made casting tricky tho, but still managed.

absolutely gorgeous day on the river today! sunny skies, caught a bunch of smallmouth bass! used a crankbait, and it was a game changer! biggest was like 3.5 lbs. couldn’t believe how hungry they were, just kept casting. brought home dinner, feeling like a pro today. 🌊🎣

fishing was on fire today! sunny with just enough wind to make it fun. started early cuz of the sunrise and landed a nice 4lb brookie right away! used a jig below a bobber, just bouncing it off the bottom. caught a couple more before noon, feelin’ good about today!
