returned to ray hubbard, felt like a perfect day! caught 5 catfish in the 2 to 3 lbs range, even had some rain sprinkle but they were still biting! used chicken liver for bait, my go-to!
finally some clearer skies at grapevine! went out and caught a bunch of sunfish, they were hitting hard today! used lightweight tackle, felt great to feel those bites again.
another rain day at white rock! but hey, caught 2 solid bass. the storms were crazy but the fish were biting like mad! used my fave topwater lure, always a good choice when it rains.
got soaked at lake lavon today. heavy rain came outta nowhere, but I still managed to catch a couple of nice channel cats. had to switch to a heavier line with the wind picking up too.
whoa, what a day at grapevine lake! sunny but storm clouds were lurking. caught a nice bass, maybe 4lbs on a crankbait. took a bit but definitely worth the wait. weather’s warming up fast!
