hit the surf in LA this morning, was a bit cloudy but felt nice out, temp was around 22Β°C. got out there around 6am with my buddy, using some live sand crabs for bait. we were casting near the rocks and omg, I had a blast! caught 5 perch, biggest one was like 1.5lbs. wind was light, just enough to keep things cool. almost lost a rod when this big one took off, but I managed to reel it in. sunset was beautiful, left around 8pm. definitely coming back next weekend!
