finally a sunny day!! took advantage and hit the river early. landed a fat 6lb pike! used my favorite crankbait and it did wonders. feeling so good about spring fishing, can't wait for more days like this
overcast today, but I went out anyway. caught a few small trout, 1-2 lbs. not too thrilling, but it’s nice just to be out there. used a long rod for drifting some worms, was peaceful. coulda used a little more sunshine tho
fished again today, patchy rain but the fish were kinda shy. only got one decent trout but lost a bigger one at the shore😩. used my favorite spoon, but they weren’t really interested. better luck next time
wow today was a wet one! moderate rain made things interesting, but I got lucky with a 5lb bass! totally worth it! used a jig, and the bite was fierce for a bit then just dead. still had a good time tho
was out on the river this morning, kinda drizzly but not too bad. managed to catch a couple of rainbows. used a nymph setup and they were biting just under the surface. not a bad day
