Smith River Ca Fishing Report

final report for the week, had a pretty good day! fished through the clouds and caught a nice 8 lb trout with a fly rod! never thought that would happen. wind was crazy again tho, but we managed to keep our lines tight.

another day on the river and its still overcast! caught a couple nice bass, biggest was about 6 lbs. went after some topwater action, love it! but the wind was relentless today, almost lost my hat.

fished smith again, still overcast and kinda chilly. caught a few smallies, nothing huge but they were fun. used some crankbaits that worked pretty well. wind was strong today tho, made it tough to cast far.

weather was a bit meh today, some patchy rain n all but still went out. caught a nice 4 lb rainbow, just chilling under some trees with a spinner. had a blast, even with the rain. sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad!

man, what a wet day! hit the river and it was pouring rain, caught 1 big salmon around 7 lbs. all thanks to my trusty jig. it was a struggle with the wind too! but worth it for that catch.
