went back to slough creek, it was partly cloudy and a cool temp. landed 3 nice rainbows and lost one that was a monster! tried a mix of nymphs and dry flies. really enjoyable day on the water!
another rainy day at slough creek. caught a couple of small browns but the conditions were rough! wind was wild. we tried to stay optimistic but eventually called it a day after getting drenched.
wow today was cold and wet, not ideal! I caught just 1 fish but it was a nice one. I was using a nymph pattern, had to battle the wind too. didn't stay long, just wasn’t feeling it in the rain!
ugh the rain! I mean it was bad. got soaked within minutes. still managed to catch 2 decent fish but had to hide under a tree for a bit. next time I’ll check the weather better before heading out.
partly cloudy at the creek today. didn’t start great but ended up landing 4 nice browns! switched to a streamer and they were hammering it. temp was nice too, warm enough to forget about the rain from last week lol.
