Really early start today, mist hanging over the water. Caught a good size catfish, like 5lbs. Used some cut bait and it worked like magic. That’s what I love about fishing here, you never know what you're gonna get!
What a downpour! Didn't catch much, just one small trout. But it was relaxing just being out there in the rain. The water was calm, which was nice. I’ll take any day with a rod in my hand. Hope the weather clears up soon!
Weather was all over the place today. Had some light rain but we still caught a few. Not as many as I hoped for tho. I tried my luck with some crankbaits, but the fish were kinda shy today. Still, a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, right?
Man, the wind was wild today! But it didn’t stop me. Went out with my buddy and we pulled in a couple of nice walleyes. Just under 3lbs each. Used some nightcrawlers and they were hitting hard. Felt great to get out there again!
Today was amazing! Overcast and warm, perfect for fishing. Caught 5 bass, biggest was around 4lbs! Used some topwater lures early on and they went crazy! Felt like a pro out there. Definitely going back tomorrow!
