Hello Everyone, Today was a rigging day. We spent the whole day getting our gear squared away for the upcoming days of fishing to come. Countless wire leaders, top shots, and lures were rigged up. We are ready for what tomorrow brings. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Captain Ryan Bostian of The San Diego checked in. Had steady gamefish action all day long. We caught 107 Yellowtail and 98 Bonita!

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this morning with an audio update from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We ended up with 11 Bluefin Tuna around 50 pounds. The weather has been great and we are seeing a very good sign of fish.

Tuesday, September 11th, 2012

Hi friends. Yesterday, it was a sad day for Raider nation and eleven years ago today, it was a sad day for our nation. A day that we will never forget and with the sadness and pain came unity and strength. We pay or respects to those lost on September 11th of 2001 and we pay respects to the military --past and present-- that fought for our freedom and still continue to fight today. Thank you, from the Polaris Supreme.

Anyhow, the weather was fantastic. We caught good yellowtail this morning and we had jigs behind the boat for most of the day while we made our way up the line to get setup for tomorrow. We actually had to pull in the jigs on numerous occasions because the football yellowfin were so relentless. We're after trophies now and it sounds like there are some schools of big yellowfin running around. We'll see if we can't get on a school to end our trip on a grand note. Well late in the day yesterday we got into a good school of albacore. They bite well and everybody was hung on the boat. It was a wild afternoon and we ended up with a nice round of albacore. This morning we are in a new area. Prospects look good and we've had a handful so far. We are coming up on a really good looking spot so I will update again later. Thanks! Tommy and crew

Our private charter had to display some good old fashioned patience today. In a typical 3/4 day trip we can expect to make about 3-5 moves thru ought the day looking for fish. Today however, we did not find what we were looking for until our 9th stop of the day. The rapidly changing conditions coupled with the short windows of biting fish have been driving yours truly crazy the past couple of days. Today's photo will show you why we have been putting ourselves thru such mental anguish. Today's final count for our 31 passengers is 11 yellowtail 20 calico bass 16 barracuda 7 rockfish. Our yellowtail today weighed 20-35 pounds and were biting the fly lined sardines the best.
