18th May - partly cloudy today and the wind was a bit annoying but managed to land 6 fish! all smallmouths! used a popper and the action was lit! the weather was nice for a late afternoon chill, overall a solid trip.
14th May - another overcast day but went out anyway. caught 2 nice trout, both around 1.5lbs. used some old school worms that were in my tackle box! good times even if the sun didn't come out.
12th May - wow, it poured today! was hoping for some good action but only ended up catching rain on my head. gear got soaked, but it was kinda fun. the creek looked different under the rain tho, maybe next time! we’ll see
11th May - went to maxwell creek again, not much luck today. it was overcast and i think the fish were hiding. only managed 1 little guy, about a pound. the weather was chilly, but hey, better than being stuck at home.
5th May - what a glorious day! finally warmed up and the fish were biting like mad. i had 5 bass all over 3lbs! used a green worm setup, it was super fun. we were just laughing and having a great time, the sun was shining
