Siltcoos Lake Fishing Report

hit siltcoos on a whim today, overcast skies and cool temps. was slow at first but ended up with 3 decent bass on a dark colored jig. they were hiding under the lily pads in the shallows. always a good time fishing here!

went fishing today, patchy rain but it cleared up by noon. caught a really nice 5 lb trout using a worm under a bobber. felt amazing to reel that in! my buddy got a couple too, we were having a blast out there!

another overcast day out at siltcoos, was hoping for better luck but only got 2 small bass. used a slow retrieve with a crankbait, they were a bit finicky. still had a good time though, can’t complain when you’re on the water!

took a trip to the lake today. overcast and chilly, brought my favorite 6'6" medium rod with some good ol' shiners. caught 5 trout, all around 2 lbs. not bad considering the weather! feels great to be out there, even if it's a bit grey.

fished this morning with a buddy, mostly cloudy day but wind was strong. managed to catch a couple bass, biggest was 4 lbs! used a buzzbait and they were hitting it pretty hard. lake's looking great, just gotta time it right with the weather.
