Captain Ryan Bostian checked in with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing out of Mission Bay, CA. We are still trophy fishing! We caught a 132 pound Bluefin Tuna. We had 9 Bluefin Tuna (one at 132, a 101, 7 of them at 75 pounds). We had two over 100 pounds that pulled the hook at color.
Short topshot and flurocarbon is not working. Please have 100 to 200 feet of mono topshot.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with a Coronado Island Report from the San Diego out of Seaforth Landing. Today we had 24 anglers catching 92 Yellowtail (up to 30 pounds). Yesterday we only had 14. But they rebounded good today they were biting really good. We are a go tomorrow! The fish were mainly in the 15 pound class. They are biting very well on the surface iron but we did catch fish on live bait too. Call Seaforth at (619) 224-3383 to get in on the action.

Well today was another tough day for the whole group. A couple stops on 40-70 lb. tuna and a sprinkling of 100-120 lb. fish, but for the most part slow. The weather is still good and the food great. We had lobster salad and home made cream of chicken soup for lunch, and another superb sushi sashimi layout before a prime cut steak and potato dinner. We'll be looking at a new area tomorrow.

Mag Bay Openings: Several openings on 7 day Mag Bay trip; Dec 1 - Dec 8. Fly down/fly back from Loreto and fish 6 full days in prime big fish waters with only 10 anglers. Contact Chris at [email protected] for details.

Mike Pritchard called i with this report for the Tribute. "Very good fishing here once again. Limits of Yellowtail, 18 mixed tuna with a sprinkling of Skipjack to go with it. The weather is really nice & we are looking around for some more Bluefin.

Hello everyone how about a little recap of our seven day AHI Charter. We spent two days traveling down to the hot Wahoo grounds in absolutely beautiful flat, whether enjoying the company of all of our good friends old and new! From there proceeded to have some of the most awesome Wahoo fishing for the next three days with a few hundred football yellowfin tuna and a handful of quality Dorado thrown in. The next day we spent scrounging around for a shot at giving everybody a chance to catch a yellowtail. And here we are today traveling up and doing what we always do on the last day hanging out telling stories taking naps and oh yeah we have Wi-Fi so burning up megabytes on Mexicans tell cell. We will be into the dock tomorrow morning and unload our beautiful catch. If you got a chance swing by the landing at daylight and take a peek. Thank you charter master Dallas Lamb and Vance Willer for putting together a great group of guys and a super fun experience for everyone. The Polaris supreme will be at the dock until November 6 doing boat work and then we will depart on our limited load 10 day trip with Jim Holman and the boys! We still have room for four or anglers if you would like to join us November 6 for some of the most impressive Wahoo fishing we have ever seen in the fall. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-05-2016 We finished up the trip nicely yesterday with great yellowtail and tuna fishing down below. It was pretty darn good! Unfortunately we have to travel all day today to get back to San Diego. As luck would have it though we have excellent weather traveling home! Thank you Henry Hampton for putting together another fun group of folks for four days of fishing. We will be in tomorrow morning at 6 AM to unload our catch and pick up a limited load of 20 passengers on Dan Ravta's annual five day trip!
