Fishing yesterday was absolutely fantastic. The grade of albacore that we were catching was beautiful with half being 30-40 lbs. and the other half averaging 22 lbs. Weather yesterday and today is excellent. This morning we are already into albacore, blue fin and yellow fin. Looks like a another great day on the water. Check our schedule if you want to come out and get into some of this good fishing.

Today we are traveling down the line. Mainly a rigging day for the days to come. Our sights are set on Yellowtail, Grouper, Wahoo, and Yellowfin.

Capt Mike Prichard from the Tribute called in the final talley from their overnight with 148 Yellowfin Tuna from 8 - 45 lbs, some really goos fishing. We also had good Yellowtail of which we kept about 40 of the from 6 - 12 lbs with a couple in the lower 20 lb range, we also released a lot. We a also seeing al lot of Dorado around the kelps, we were not able to get any to bite today. Fishing across the board has been very good, although the Bluefin have not been around. Captain Ryan Bostian called in tonight with an update from the San Diego. Today Captain Cameron ran the boat. We had 32 anglers catch 97 Yellowtail. We also had some Barracuda and Bonito.
We have are having great weather today and in the near future.

Hey guys:
We are still seeing plenty of yellowtail at the Coronado Islands. Our counts for the past week have been anywhere from 3 to 48 yellowtail per trip. It seems like if you get around the right school at the right time they will bite. We have seen schools at just about every spot at the islands. Today we went out with 28 passengers and caught 12 yellows. The biggest fish today was a 36 pounder caught on a fly lined sardine. Most of our fish have been in the 20 pound class and have been taken on fly lined sardines on 25 lb. and yo-yo jigs on 40 lb. The weather has been absolutely perfect. We are running everyday. Please make reservations at 619-224-3383.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-29-2018
Another fantastic day of fishing from the time we got up at 530 until the time we left the island at one p.m. It's incredible what a great trip we have had here at Guadalupe. Most of the fish are in the 80 pound range with a few towards 150 and a few smaller. We normally can stay here at the island until dark but our forecast weather does not look good! We took off early so we could get a decent ride home at least in the beginning On the subject of who were the hot sticks on the boat! It was the people number one that had the skills but also were fishing 50 to 80 pound Spectra backing 50 to to 60 pound top shots of Mono with 50 or 60 pound flouro carbon leaders and a 3/0 to 5/0 circle or standard designer. We will try to give your report tomorrow but I can tell you next group bring your windbreaker!
