yo! went out on a half-day trip from SD today, cloudy but nice temp at 18.2Β°C. we hit some kelp paddies in the morning and had a blast. caught some nice yellowtail, biggest was around 15lbs, using live sardines. bit was crazy for a while and then died down. also saw dolphins jumping around, made the trip even better! couldn't believe the action we had. had my new Shimano reel and it performed like a champ. got home just in time for sunset, what a day! tight lines folks!
