Polaris Supreme Trip Report 12-02-2018 We got into Guadalupe Island with about two hours to fish before dark. The school we got on was not large but we managed to hook several nice fish the biggest one being 135 pounds. The two boats fishing the island while we traveled down today had probably one of the best days of the year. Super stoked and excited for tomorrow! Weather is of course excellent at the island . We will be checking in tomorrow evening after hopefully an awesome day. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Jodie Morgan called in with this report for the Apollo out of Fisherman's Landing. "We have limits of Yellowtail, averaging about 24 lbs. We have also caught 1 Bluefin Tuna. We are on a 1 Day trip. It is beautiful weather.

When length matters! Today we are fishing Wahoo. Whoever catches the LONGEST Wahoo will receive a NEW Diawa Saltiga 30HA reel. So far it looks like it will be a game of inches! Keep em coming aboard everyone! Will report tomorrow, Team Supreme

Today our 18 anglers bagged up 60 red rockcod 3 lingcod limits of Boccaccio as well as limits of rockfish. After some morning Santa Ana winds, the weather was absolutely gorgeous.

Captain Tucker McCombs checked in this morning from the Endeavor out of Hook's Landing in Oxnard, CA. We got em again! Limits of White Seabass and a Halibut too! The Endeavor is online for White Seabass fishing again departing tonight.

Wow what a crazy sky this evening here along the Baja coast! Yesterday we departed on our annual AHI 7 day charter. The AHI charter has been around for 23 years and going strong! Today the charter spent the day rigging up, relaxing, and unwinding to a great selection of music, complete with a special outfitted sound system here aboard Polaris Supreme for this charter. It is a truly enjoyable atmosphere here, and the weather could not be better to go with it. We are all rigged up and ready for our first day of wahoo fishing tomorrow morning. Wish us luck! Aug. 30

Not to much to report from the Polaris Supreme today. We did a tiny bit of fishing this morning. We were seeing little dabs of yellowfin where we were and the boats below us were seeing the same thing. Just a little bit of fish scattered around and stops for not much so we wound in the jigs and put the blinders up and traveled down the rest of the day. We did our wahoo seminar mid morning and after that it was a leisure day. Some slept, some made wire leaders and some just kicked back and enjoyed the lovely weather. Man oh man was it nice out today. Flat calm seas, super light breeze and warm. August must be coming to an end and we welcome that. What a cold windy month for us out here. Our speed has been poor and it's looking like we won't be arriving to our destination until after lunch.

Capt Mike Pritchard called in a wrap up from their 1.5 day trip, the fishing was great we ended the trip with 121 Yellowfin Tuna and 68 very nice grade Yellowtail. We had good weather and flat seas, looks like we have more Yellowfin moving up. We do have a few openings for a trip leaving on Thursday, if you want to get on this trip give the landing a call 619-224-3383.
