weather was cloudy on May 24th, but still went for it. only caught one steelhead, about 8 lbs, but it was super nice. used a spinnerbait to entice it. not a bad day overall but wish I got more. river was low
on May 15th, went out and got lucky! landed a steelhead around 11 lbs in the early rain. had my trusty spinning rod. been trying to find them all week, finally! it was worth getting soaked
May 14th was a bit iffy, saw some patchy rain but I took the chance. caught 2 decent steelies, around 9 lbs each. float fishing with worms, they were biting real good! even got a nice spot by the rocks
finally some sun on May 11th! It felt so good, I was out there early. got 5 nice steelhead, biggest was 12 lbs! used a silver spoon, they were hitting like crazy! might’ve been the weather change. awesome day
didn't get much luck on May 5th, just one tiny steelhead. it was chilly too, only like 12C! my hands were freezing. kept switching lures but they just wouldn’t bite. maybe the rain messed things up? but I’ll try again
