Limits of BluefinTtuna again!

Arrived at our fishing destination today at 9:30am. As soon as we put the anchor down we were going full speed on a very nice grade of yellowtail. The small ones were 16 lbs. and then went up to over 30 lbs. The weather again is beautiful.. We headed up the line and got to where we were going before dark to fish a couple hours for rock cod and then we headed west into the offshore mode. Scallops and fresh yellowtail for dinner. Very tasty. Thanks for checking in.

Well, we had a great day today. Everybody had a blast fishing lots 60 -100 lb. tuna. Pat Jaeger landed a 195 and a 213 pounder. Chuegy pulled in a 225 pounder. There were a couple more around 165 or so. We did stop at lunch for a delicious pork shank with spiced white beans and saffron pilaf. It was really good. And our weather is also good. So another wonderful day out here. Look at our schedule and find a trip that will work in your schedule and come out and have some fun.

10 big bonito made up our day. Handful of opportunities at bluefin from 30-100lbs for no takers. Back at tomorrow. Bring your A game.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in at grey light from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. We caught 2 Bluefin Tuna at grey light. We have one fish hanging. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-08-2016 Good evening folks, Polaris Supreme checking in. We had a fantastic day of yellowtail fishing! These larger size the yellowtail where biting everything from the dropper-loop and fly-line baits too yo-yo and surface iron jigs. It was definitely not a hard and get bit, unlike the last couple weeks. Many times throughout the day we had yellowtail boiling around the boat! We also caught a nice white seabass during one of the yellowtail flurries! Overall, it was a terrific day of fishing! We are now anchored up in an area where we have a great chance of catching white seabass, halibut and yellowtail throughout the night and early morning. Tomorrow, we will be spending our time in the same area in the hopes of duplicating the success we had today! Thanks for reading, Team Supreme

Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute gave us an on the water update for this morning, they are off to a great start. So far they have 12 Yellowtail from 12 to 18 pounds and 2 Bluefin Tuna around the 40 pound each and this before 7am. We ended yesterday in this area with some good fishing, hopefully today will be more of the same we have high hopes. We will check back in later.

101 Yellowtail, 58 Bonito. Full size yo-yo lures, dropper loops with 10-12 oz sinkers and some fresh 40 lb mono is all you need.
