Normal turn around today. Nothing crazy happened. It was hot hot hot. The bluefin were bigger then we thought. The small one went 139.something and the biggest one went 146. Pigs. Or cows rather. We'd like to do the same this trip. We left on the annual Robin Gledhill Blue White private charter with captain Tommy Rothery at the helm. After getting bait and some lunch it was nap time for most. Me included. It was nice With a shower and a cup of coffee right after makes me feel like a million bucks. We did the seminar and had a lovely prime rib dinner. I skipped it and cooked up some of the escolar passenger John caught last trip and was too scared to keep. They're not the prettiest fish and after hearing rumors of what happens when you eat too much of it in one sitting he said no way was he keeping it. So i tried it tonight. I had it for dinner. Tommy won't let me say what happens on here so I'll just say that it's a very oily fish and you should be able to figure it out. I'll let you know tomorrow John. The weather out here is smooth and we should experience some more in the near future.

We traveled down to do some island fishing and late in the day we got into some excellent quality yellowtail. However, it wasn't going to stop there. Our evening bite was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful big yellowtails. Most all were over 30 lbs and lots over 40 lbs. Today was a fun day to be on the water. Thanks for checking in. Tommy and crew P.S. We still have a couple open spots on Garry Robert's 9-day. The fishing has been great at Alijos. Come out and join me and Drew. It's going to be a great trip.

Polaris Supreme Report 7-26-2016 Today the weather flattened out and got comfortably warm. We started out by catching less of the little yellowtail that has been around in such force, and more quality fish. Although the baby yellows were not as big of a problem today, the sign is slowly disappearing here. Even so we still caught many quality yellows. It was very enjoyable catching the big fish and not having to weed through the small ones and Bonito like yesterday. In the early afternoon we decided to head offshore and start making our way up the line putting ourselves in position for fishing tomorrow. In our travels we found some kelps that kicked out a few more yellows as well as a beautiful Dorado. Looking forward to tomorrow, Team Supreme

4 bluefin(3 over 100lbs) 15 yellowtail. A few good shots at very large bluefin. The opportunity to catch a fish over 100lbs on a day trip is truly amazing. Don’t miss out.

Good evening folks. We departed today on Eric Rogger's annual 5 day trip. We took a while at the bait receivers. The bait they had wasn't all that bitchen. We took a couple lids that should do fine for the trip but I'm not so sure about the rest. Time will tell but it may turn on us. Hopefully we'll be able to use it tomorrow on big schools of bluefin before it turns solid red. We're going to start off looking for the elusive bluefin first thing in the morning and put in a day doing that. It's beautiful weather today and we're enjoying a great ride now and the passengers are enjoying the departure meal of prime rib and sides. Wish us luck

Hello Everyone, Today we had an excellent day of fishing for both Yellowtail and Blue fin Tuna. The Yellowtail were all excellent grade 15-35 lbs, most of the Tuna were 12-20 lbs except for two standouts. One Close to 100 lbs and one well over 200 lbs. An excellent start to the trip with an incredible variety of fish. Hopefully it continues tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute called in a trip wrap for todays trip, it was very good fishing this morning, with some highs and lows. We ended with 31 mixed tuna and 25 very nice grade yellowtail. Yo yo and fly lining worked very well for, and are still getting some hook ups in the dark while sitting on a kelp patty. Hello everyone, Today we spent another day targeting quality Wahoo and school sized tuna. We did great, picking at the Wahoo the majority coming on live bait. The bombs and jigs seem somewhat dormant at the moment, but we're not complaining because fish are coming aboard! At times there is an incredible amount of life out here. From the Wahoo, Skipjack, Yellowfin, Triggerfish, and more. The volume of life makes it difficult to hook the targeted Wahoo and bigger Tuna. So there is quite a bit of weeding out of the small yellowfin and other species in order to get what we came here for. Aside from Tuna and Wahoo we had an unexpected jag of Dorado swim through today. We landed a handful of the larger models to add to the fall variety pack here aboard Polaris Supreme. We are heading up tonight in hopes of a Yellowtail topper tomorrow morning. Wish us luck!
