went out this morning, patchy rain but it cleared up a bit later. caught a nice 7lb chinook! used a baitcaster with a spinner blade, worked like a charm. felt really good to get that one, been a while!
cloudy day again, but felt good to be out on the kalama. didn't catch much, just a few bites. tried everything - spoons, spinners, even some bait. just one small steelhead for me. guess it happens!
heyy, went to kalama during some heavy rain showers. crazy day! caught a couple small ones but nothing to write home about. jigged with some bright colors, thought it would work better. oh well!
fished kalama this morning, overcast and a bit chilly but it was peaceful. caught 4 small cutthroats, all about 2lbs each. was using my 6wt fly rod with a woolly bugger. perfect day to get lost in nature!
man, today was a full-on rain fest. only a couple bites but i did manage to hook a nice rainbow! it was like 4lbs, nothing crazy but still nice to get out there. my rain gear was tested for sure!
