Red Feather Lakes Fishing Report

so i went out on the 24th, more heavy rain! it was a struggle but we found a spot with some cover. managed to pull in 2 decent trout, around 2 lbs each. fished with a classic spoon which seemed to work well despite the weather. soaked but happy!

hit red feather lakes on the 21st, more rain but we didn't let that stop us! brought my buddy along and we fished the south shore. dropped some minnows and caught a handful of perch, all small but still fun to reel in. huddled under our umbrellas trying to stay dry!

fished on the 20th, and it started to rain a bit. packed my raincoat but still got soaked lol. caught two 1.5 lb trout on spinners by the dam. they were hungry for sure. kinda refreshing getting caught in the rain tho, felt like a real adventure!

went out on the 16th, it was partly cloudy and the wind picked up a bit. we used jigs and caught a few pike near the inlet. nothing huge, maybe 2-3 lbs but still fun! it was a bit choppy so we had to work for it but got some action.

what a day at the lakes on May 9! sun was shining bright, caught 4 nice bass with a chatterbait. fished near some fallen trees, they were biting like crazy! biggest one was about 4 lbs. shoulda brought my cooler but had to release them 😅.
