man what a day at pymatuning! woke up early around 5 and it was pouring rain, but i thought hey why not? grabbed my rain gear and hit the lake. temp was only 15°C so it was chilly but worth it. ended up catching a couple nice crappies, like maybe 10 or so, all on a small jig head, white with a chartreuse tail. they were biting pretty good despite the weather. had to dodge the wind too, was gusting up to 23 km/h. felt like i was fighting the elements but the thrill kept me going. spent a good few hours out there until the rain eased up a bit. got back home soaked but with a smile on my face! 🌧️🎣
