went out again, overcast and kinda chilly. just a couple of nibbles, but i did see some big fish jumping. tried everything in my tackle box! gotta love the peshtigo river, even on off days. next time for sure!
overcast day today, temps dropped again. only got a couple of bites, but i did land a small pike. used a jerkbait, but not much action. just nice to be out by the water, even if it was cold. still can’t beat the river life.
another day on the river, the rain teased us but it didn’t really come down. managed to catch a nice 6lb catfish. caught it on a live bait. wind was a bit annoying but overall a decent trip. went with my buddy and we had a blast.
went out expecting a rainy day but it held off! caught a couple of small trout, nothing crazy tho. just under 2 lbs. used a spinner rig, but it was slow. beautiful day out there regardless, love the river.
hit the river bright and early, temps up to 19°C and super sunny! landed 4 bass, biggest was over 3lbs. tossed a few topwater lures and they were smacking it. felt like summer finally! good vibes and good fish.
