The Tribute out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA checked in today with a wrap up from a 1.5 Day trip. 33 anglers finished with 1 Bluefin Tuna and 51 Yellowfin Tuna.

Open trips this week: Tuesday, November 12 departs at 9 PM for 1.5 Day Thursday, November 14 departs at 9 PM for Overnight Limited Load Friday, November 1.5 departs at 9 P for 1.5 Day

Supreme Update

There has been excellent bluefin fishing at 120 to 150 miles the last few days! In response the POLARIS SUPREME is putting the follow two day trips on line to specifically target these fish in this area as well as the yellowtail on the kelp patties in that zone.

The fish are between 120-150 miles and departing at 1 pm in the afternoon will easily put the SUPREME on the fishing grounds by 5 am the following morning and allow her to fish until 8pm that evening. We gave it the Dark till Dark effort and came up dry. We did however see multiple very nice schools of yellowfin that were not interested in our hooks.

Good evening everyone, Just finished up a tough day here tuna fishing. Conditions really changed for the worse. With no reason behind it, the fish simply moved out. However this is not a problem, we have simply reverted back to search mode. With everyone spread far and wide trying to cover the vast ocean, we are bound to find something soon. However this does conclude our trip. We would like to thank LETS TALK HOOK UP! for putting on this four day and look forward to next year! Hello everyone, Today we spent the day searching for yellowtail along the baja coast. It was very tough. However we did indeed find yellowtail, they were just very difficult to hook. Lots of bird life and scattered fish along the coast even big spots of fish splashing around. In the midst of all this life er only managed to put a handful on the boat. Tough day, hopefully we can get on some tuna tomorrow offshore. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

We're off to a very god start here this morning," said Mike Pritchard. "We're down here at about the 100 mile mark with very nice weather. We're doing well on the kelps and have some open water jig strikes. So far we have 71 Yellowfin Tuna, 61 Yellowtail and a handful of Dorado & Skipjack, for 26 anglers.

"We do leave on a 1.5 Day trip tomorrow night there is still room and the weather should be good. We'll check back later."

Getting a school of Yellowtail to this point is the last stage of some serious skipper sh**t. Today Capt. Matt Bralla and the guys put 149 Yellowtail on the boat.

Monday, May 7th, 2012

Hi folks. Short day for Drew, Tommie, Mark, Jamie and myself as all we did today was drill zinc plates and tarp off the boat to prepare for the painters to spray the strontium on the bare aluminum today and the primer tomorrow. The vinyl lettering was applied to both sides of the bow and the stern today. From the looks of it, we've gone back to the old school font and color ...scheme. Instead of the lighter blue and orange which has been on the boat for the past six or seven years, the Supreme has gone back to a "royal blue" which looks moe like navy blue and orange. Things are starting to shape up and with the bait tank, bus stop and inside bulwarks hopefully being completed this week, we're looking forward to the end of our stay here in National City sometime next week.

Anyhow, short day for us today, an off day for us tomorrow for painting, and we'll be back at it on Wednesday for, you guessed it: more sanding. Take care and hopefully, everybody's Monday is treating you all kindly.
