Polaris Supreme Trip Report 11-27-2018 The tuna started biting right away this morning! We had three going right off the bat in the gray light. We stayed real consistent all the way until about 11 AM keeping 3 to 5 going most of the time. It slowed the rest of the day but we still continue to pick right into the dark. Most of the fish were around 80 pounds with a few in the 60 pound range. Another great day of fishing! Our weather has been great. And of course were going to do this tomorrow. Wish us luck. Today went as planned. We fished yellowtail for a few hours in the afternoon to break up the travel time getting down below. We had to hunt a little but everybody on board got their share of tugging and pulling. We're traveling tonight toward the ridge. We should arrive in the afternoon if we don't stop prior to.

~~Good afternoon folks. Checking in hear from the bridge as we're departing on Dan Ranta's 1st Annual 5 day Charter. Dan took over for our long time passenger and charter master extraordinaire Mr. Eric Rogger. All of us here on the Supreme will certainly miss having him out on the water and being one of our favorite charter masters for over 30 years! Thanks so much Mr. Rogger! Dan joined us out here for his first time on the boat last year with a few of his fishing buddies and wasted no time taking over as charter head and filled the boat with an awesome group of anglers. We still have some veteran passengers still out with us like Tania Warner and her dad John as well as a lot new faces that we look forward to taking out fishing.
 We have Captain Tommy back at the helm so Drew can go spend a much needed 5 days with Kristin and his baby girl Sydney. And I can certainly not go without mentioning the we finally have back with us our Captain Tommie "Gunny" Miles. He's been missed, but now he's doing great, his health back in order and he says thanks to all of you that have wished him the best while he was recovering on his short hiatus.
 So here we go, great group, excellent weather heading south and ready for the games to begin! Tight lines and wind at our back! Check back in tomorrow.

Hello everyone, Today was spent traveling up. A great ride to end a great trip filled with a variety of fish. We would like to thank Billy Stephens for putting together such a great charter! It was a great seven day with a great group of fun anglers, and we look forward to next year! Our ETA is 5:30 See you at the dock, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-20-2016 Good afternoon everyone, Today we started out fishing off the central baja coast, in hopes of lots of large yellowtail and maybe even a Seabass or two. An early wake up call was in order to try for a premium sized yellowtail or Seabass. Unfortunately the fish had other plans. So we pulled the anchor and began searching for any sign of yellowtail. We were not able to find any breaking fish or breezers but the bait life around was astonishing. We worked bait ball after bait ball for nothing. After concluding that the conditions were not panning out we started working our way north. Spot after spot of scratch yellowtail fishing. However there were a few lucky anglers that landed some quality mossbacks. We worked at it till about high noon and then decided to head off shore in hopes of a boomer kelp patty or a biting school of tuna. Water is clean and our hopes are high, Team Supreme

Well that 40 to 70 pound bluefin was found today. Not by us but it was found. We're making a 160 mile move tonight so we'll be fishing hopefully catching tomorrow afternoon. Needless to say it was a slow day for us and all the other boats who went scouting. We finally had some action late on yellowfin but it was not enough to keep us there another day. Hopefully the mysterious bluefin keeps biting for weeks/months/years to come.

Captain Ryan Bostian from the San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA.  Today we had great fishing and a light load.  Our 9 anglers ended up with 45 California Yellowtail (LIMITS) and 45 Vermilion Rockfish (LIMITS).
