Menominee River Fishing Report

sunshine finally! got out to the Menominee after days of rain. tossed some soft plastics into the current and BAM! got a nice 5lb smallie. felt so good to be back in the warmth with some action. the river was alive today, saw a bunch of jumpers. finally a good day!

more of the same today, sopping wet but still had to get out. fished with my brother, tried to dodge the rain. caught a few more pike, this time on jerkbaits. nothing over 2 lbs tho, kinda slow day. at least we weren’t the only ones out there, lots of folks braving the weather!

complete washout today, heavy rain all day long. decided to brave the weather and fished near the dam. got soaked but I ended up snagging a couple of smaller pike, maybe 3 lbs each. didn't expect much but hey, a fish is a fish, right? def gonna dry out and try again when it clears up!

another wet day out on Menominee, we were all set to fish but the rain kept us guessing. still, got a few bites using my favorite crankbait. didn’t catch much, just a small bass maybe 2 lbs. wind was a pain, but I’d take that over being stuck inside any day. hoping for better luck tomorrow.

man, it was raining off and on but that didn’t stop us! hit the river early with my fishing buddy. brought along some spoons and let me tell you, those trout were on fire today! caught a few nice ones, biggest was pushing 5 lbs. we soaked and got wet but had a blast!
