Our full day trip was turned into a 1/2 day trip due to rough seas. We did however get a couple of good shots and ended with 28 yellowtail. Looking forward to spending an entire day on the grounds tomorrow.

Aug 19

A good finish to a good trip today. It started off a slow morning like every morning of this trip started off. It being the last day we just traveled north all morning to increase our fishing time for the day. We bumped into a school of those 50-70 pound bft's mid to late morning and drifted till we were out of time. We landed almost 30 of those beauts before we had to call it and head for the barn. The weather today was great and the ride going up is ideal. The fillet and crab cakes were delish and everyone is tuckered out but me but only because I have to be up.

Thanks again to the Heil group for coming out once again after all these years and creating another memorable trip.

Started where we found fish yesterday, it had slid up and out. Found big Bluefin right away, hooked one and lost is 15' from the gaff. Chased Yellowfin most of the day, managed only 2, but we were happy to capture those. Offshore again tommorrow and it's a new day!!

Tax evasion. Today had a slow start but really heated up after noon. It was more of the same when it came to the sharks, but the second half of the day we really got on these fish when we had the opportunity. Pulling hard the whole time and bringing in some nice fish through the sharks. Here we have Aiden with a great Tuna he was able to pull away from the tax man! (aka Shark) Way to get on him Aiden!

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 12-02-2018 We got into Guadalupe Island with about two hours to fish before dark. The school we got on was not large but we managed to hook several nice fish the biggest one being 135 pounds. The two boats fishing the island while we traveled down today had probably one of the best days of the year. Super stoked and excited for tomorrow! Weather is of course excellent at the island . We will be checking in tomorrow evening after hopefully an awesome day. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012

Hi friends. We departed this evening at 1800 hours on another day and a half trip with a group of eager anglers and the voice of Let's Talk Hook-Up, Mr. Pete Gray. We loaded up on a beautiful load of sardines at the receivers and although we didn't get a full load of bait, we have plenty and the load is very healthy looking. Let's hope that we have something to throw them at tomorrow. We'll be on the hunt for yellowfin and dorado on kelps but we'll also take an open-water sonar school if one happens to present itself. With a favorable weather outlook and a good load of bait, we're anxious to get down to the zone. We'll chat with you tomorrow.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 07-28-2016 We finished up our trip today with some scratch yellowtail fishing all morning and then an afternoon of rock cod fishing, all in all a very successful day and trip. Thank you very much Mark Costello and fellow anglers for making it so. Were heading up in some beautiful weather and looking forward to our next group with Tom Chaparro and his limited load of only 18 anglers.We still have openings on our four-day trip after Tom's five day if you would like to come out fishing with us! We are hearing signs of yellowfin tuna that actually wants to bite. We are excited to give it a try here on Tom's trip. And no Mark Castillo group it's not the local stuff! Putting away the Bluefin gear for now. Our sights are set on warm water fish next. Possibly Wahoo or Yellowtail! Glassy seas and great weather here traveling down on our Beck / Emerson / Wagstaff 7 day! We have new shorter trips on line for the weekend after we get back departing Friday July 20 and Sunday the 22nd. Will report tomorrow, Team Supreme
