foggy morning at patoka lake on the 26th! it was eerie but kinda cool. didn’t catch much except for a small sunfish but who cares? the vibes were chill and the water was eerily calm. can’t wait to go back!
hit the lake on the 25th, it was overcast n cold. didn’t catch much but saw a lot of bass jumping. tried my luck with some topwater lures but no bites. still a nice day out tho, just not the best fishing day.
fished yesterday, super overcast again. finally got into some action! caught a nice 3lb large mouth on a buzzbait! was just about to give up when I hooked it. gotta love those surprise moments!
went out on the 18th, but it was pretty dreary. fished for a few hours with no luck. just some bites on worms but nothing landed. it was chillier than I expected. might need a new spot next time.
took the boat out with the boys on 11th, partly cloudy day. caught a few smallies near the rocky shore. tried out my new spinner rod, felt good! nothing huge but we had fun trying different lures. weather was nice and calm too.
